Stock Upgrades: Moody's in High Spirits

Wall Street ratings agencies set the tone for today's stock market.

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL Eastman Kodak (EKDKQ), which hit an all-time high of $94.75 in 1997, ended the week at $.20 amid ongoing bankruptcy issues. Apple Inc. (AAPL), which almost went bankrupt in 1997, ended the week up 1.6% at another record after unveiling the fifth iteration of its iPhone. The product's English designer was thus able to afford a fancy new home costing £10million. $10 million buys you the Paris apartment once owned by Renoir, but an offering by the artist picked up for seven bucks at a flea market arguably offers better value.

Crane (CR): Shares are upgraded to Buy from Neutral at Citigroup, which likes its late-cycle product mix. The target is also taken up by $6, to $47.

Euronet (EEFT): The stock is now Buy from Neutral at Sterne Agee, whose price objective is $23.

GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes (GOL): The São Paulo-based airline, up 21% last week, is now Neutral from Sell at Citigroup.

Hanover Insurance (THG): Shares get upgraded to Outperform from Market Perform at FBR Capital.

Moody's (MCO): MCO is moved to Buy from Hold with a new higher target of $51 at The Benchmark Company, which expects US debt issuance to remain strong in upcoming months amid easing comparisons.

Novartis (NVS): NVS is now Outperform from Neutral at BNP Paribas.

Randgold Resources (GOLD): GOLD gets upgraded to Neutral from Sell at Citi.

Sutor Technology (SUTR): Roth Capital raises its recommendation to Buy from Neutral.

Tesla Motors (TSLA): Morgan Stanley moves the shares up an unusual 180 degrees, to Overweight from Underweight. As a result, the stock is surging some 6.8% before this morning's opening bell.

Unilever (UN): The consumer products giant gets upgraded at UBS to Buy from Neutral.

WisdomTree (WETF): Shares are added to the Top Picks Live list at Citigroup.
