Stock Upgrades: Predicting Profits at Oracle

Wall Street ratings agencies set the tone for today's stock market.

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The "angriest man in the world" was hopefully a little less so when Winnebago Industries (WGO) increased 2.56% after announcing its third-quarter profit more than tripled. Meanwhile an elderly man last seen going postal on a slot machine can relax knowing the check's in the mail from industry leader International Game Technology (IGT), whose 14.37% surge topped the entire S&P 500 (^GSPC). Facebook (FB) jumped 3.74% and is on course for its first winning week since going public but the much-hyped "Facebook revolution" in Egypt alas enjoyed no such luck.

Arkansas Best (ABFS): ABFS is upgraded to Sector Perform from Underperform at RBC Capital.

Cooper Companies (COO): BMO Capital boosts the company to Outperform from Market Perform.

Covanta (CVA): Shares are raised to Strong Buy from Market Perform at Raymond James.

International Game Technology (IGT): Bank of America-Merrill Lynch lifts yesterday's high flier to Neutral from Underperform.

LSI Logic (LSI): Crédit Agricole increases LSI to Underperform from Sell.

Nokia (NOK): The beleaguered shares, which are also downgraded this morning, score upgrades from Citi (Neutral from Sell) and Oppenheimer (Perform from Underperform.)

Oracle (ORCL): The tech stock is taken to Buy from Hold at ThinkEquity.

Randgold Resources (GOLD): Shares are higher before the opening bell on an upgrade by Goldman Sachs to Neutral from Sell. "We believe that high-quality gold equities will become more attractive to investors," analysts wrote in a note.

Regency Centers (REG): REG gets raised to Buy from Hold with a $51 target at Argus.

SAIC Inc (SAI): The defense contractor is moved to Overweight from Neutral at JPMorgan.

Sharp Corp. (SHCAY): The Japanese consumer electronics giant is hoisted to Hold from Sell at Deutsche Bank.

SINA Corp. (SINA): SINA is upgraded to Buy from Outperform at Crédit Agricole.

United Natural Foods (UNFI): The stock is boosted to Buy from Hold at Argus, whose objective is $62.
