Stock Upgrades: Vail Resorts' Rocky Mountain High

Wall Street ratings agencies set the tone for today's stock market.

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL PetSmart (PETM) surged 7.77%, pleasing the one-third of Brits who would sooner vacation with Fido than family. Urban Outfitters (URBN), no friend of Navajo nation, advanced 11% but a blonde, blue-eyed Harvard professor who is part Cherokee had no comment, being too busy making teepees out of TARPs. "Dorm" became a dirty four-letter word as Dell Inc (DELL) dropped 16.67% and Facebook (FB) fell 16.5%. This morning in economics, analysts expect an increase in May consumer confidence at 10:00 a.m. Eastern. It's a quiet start to a holiday-shortened week in corporate earnings, with Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS) and Sanderson Farms (SAFM) among today's notable announcements.
