MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL Mark Zuckerberg revealed he is a fan of 20 Shades of Gray but his stock (Facebook (FB)) again failed to end in the black, falling 1.98%. Nasdaq OMX (NDAQ), not long removed from its role in the Facebook IPO debacle, now knows eating the cost of cheese gives you nightmares after its computer systems erroneously showed Kraft Foods Group (KRFT) gaining 29% in 60 seconds.

As a Jersey Shore shack prepares for its final moment in the sun, the Garden State's own housing powerhouse Hovnanian Enterprises (HOV) gained 12.24%. Yet a stellar session for real estate stocks still wasn't enough to entice a homeless billionaire to splurge on four walls.

Today in economics, a decline is expected in August factory orders at 10:00 a.m. Eastern, and minutes to the Federal Open Market Committee's September 12-13 meeting are released at 2:00 p.m. International Speedway (ISCA) is the pick of today's quarterly earnings announcements.

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD): The semiconductor stock gets moved to Neutral from Sell at MKM Partners.

Consolidated Edison (ED): Impressed by both stronger growth and an attractive dividend yield, Argus increases ED to Buy from Hold with a $66 target price.

Deutsche Telekom (DTEGY): Deutsche Bank boosts its compatriot to Buy from Hold.

eBay Inc. (Nasdaq:EBAY) Shares are up before the opening bell on a boost to Buy from Neutral at Nomura. PayPal's growth and profitability is a positive. The target is also taken up, to $60.

Enbridge Inc. (ENB): BMO Capital gives an Outperform-from-Market Perform boost to ENB.

Ryder System (R): Shares are upgraded to Buy from Neutral at SunTrust.

SBA Communications (SBAC): The stock is now Buy from Neutral at Citigroup amid potential upside to 2013 earnings estimates.

Thoratec (THOR): THOR is taken to Outperform from Neutral with Wedbush.
