SPDR S&P 500 ETF and Nokia Among Most Active Stocks in NYSE Pre-Market

Rite Aid Corporation was up this morning.
MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the NYSE were SPDR S&P 500 ETF (NYSEARCA:SPY), Nokia (NYSE:NOK), and Rite Aid Corporation (NYSE:RAD) as of 9:00 a.m. EST.
Investors exchanged 3.88 million shares of SPDR S&P 500 ETF, which was down $0.03, or 0.02%.
Investors traded 3 million shares of Nokia, which was down $0.03, or 0.71%. According to TheNextWeb, Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) and Nokia will invest 18 million euros in mobile app development over three years.
Investors also traded 1.36 million shares of Rite Aid Corporation, which was up $0.14, or 13.46%. According to Reuters, Rite Aid reported its third-quarter financial results today. Net income was $60.5 million, or $0.07 per share. In the prior-year quarter, Rite Aid reported a net loss of $54.5 million, or $0.06 per share. The third largest drugstore chain in the US also raised its outlook for its fiscal year from a loss of $0.05 per share to a profit of $0.03 per share.
