Powershares QQQ Trust and Apple Among Most Active Stocks in Nasdaq Pre-Market

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the Nasdaq (INDEXNASDAQ:.IXIC) were Powershares QQQ Trust (NASDAQ:QQQ), Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), and Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) as of 8:45 a.m.
Investors exchanged 4,472,082 shares of Powershares QQQ Trust, which was up $0.01, or 0.02%.
Investors also traded 542,945 shares of Facebook, which was down $0.11, or 0.49%. Large investors cut their ownership in Facebook yesterday, according to Marketwatch.

Investors traded 669,903 shares of Apple, which was up $1.94, or 0.32%. Apple reported its fourth quarter fiscal results yesterday, and its net income was $8.2 billion, or $8.67 per share, compared to a net income of $6.6 billion, or $7.05 per share, in the prior year quarter. Revenue increased 27% to $36 billion. Analysts had expected earnings of $8.75 per share on revenue of $35.8 billion.
