MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the NYSE were Vanguard MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (NYSEARCA:VWO), Bank of America (NYSE:BAC), and SPDR S&P 500 ETF (NYSEARCA:SPY) as of 9:25 a.m. Investors traded 2.56 million shares of Vanguard MSCI Emerging Markets ETF, which was unchanged. Emerging markets fell overnight as an early indicator for China's PMI. Japan's trade data also pointed to slower global economic growth.

Investors exchanged 2.27 million shares of Bank of America, which was down $0.15, or 1.61%. Bank of America will cut 16,000 jobs by December of this year as part of a plan to cut $3 billion from commercial lending, investment banking, and wealth management.

Investors also traded 1.79 million shares of SPDR S&P 500 ETF, which was down $0.66, or 0.45%.
