iShares Gold Trust and Bank of America Among Most Active Stocks in NYSE Pre-Market


Health Care REIT was up this morning.

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the NYSE were iShares Gold Trust (IAU), Bank of America (BAC), and Health Care REIT (HCN) as of 9:25 a.m. Investors traded 1.94 million shares of iShares Gold Trust, which was up $0.01, or 0.06%. Gold is up $2.90, or 0.16%, to $1774.10 as of 9:06 a.m.

Investors exchanged 1.68 million shares of Bank of America, which was up $0.07, or 0.76%. Bank of America was overpaid approximately 20% by Fannie Mae in 2011 for the transfer of the servicing of troubled loans to another firm.

Investors also traded 1.21 million shares of Health Care REIT, which was up $0.08, or 0.14%. Health Care REIT today announced the pricing of its underwritten public offering of 26,000,000 shares of common stock at $56.00 per share.
