PowerShares QQQ Trust and Apple Among Most Active Stocks in Pre-Market Today on the Nasdaq


Sirius XM Radio was unchanged this morning.

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the Nasdaq (^IXIC) were PowerShares QQQ Trust (QQQ), Apple (AAPL), and Sirius XM Radio (SIRI) as of 8:45 a.m. Investors traded 1,411,881 shares of PowerShares QQQ Trust, which was down $0.38, or 0.60%.

Investors traded 633,329 shares of Apple, which was down $27.52, or 4.58%. Despite seeing a 21% increase in net income from the same quarter last year, Apple missed analysts' third-quarter projections. The company reported a net income of $8.8 billion, or $9.32 per share, on $35 billion in revenue. Estimates had Apple earning $10.37 per share on $37.22 in revenue.

Also traded were 557,190 shares of Sirius XM Radio, which was unchanged.
