Bank of America and Walgreens Most Active Stocks in Pre-Market Today on the NYSE


SPDR S&P 500 ETF was up this morning.

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the NYSE were Bank of America (BAC), Walgreens (WAG), and SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY) as of 9:00 a.m. Investors traded 2.94 million shares of Bank of America, which was up $0.07, or 0.90%.

Investors also traded 1.6 million shares of Walgreens, which was down $1.78, or 5.57%. Walgreens will buy European health and beauty retailer Alliance Boots for $6.7 billion in cash and stock, making this the first international venture for the company.

Also traded were
1.5 million shares of SPDR S&P 500 ETF, which was up $0.48, or 0.36%.
