MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the Nasdaq were PowerShares QQQ Trust (QQQ), Apple (AAPL), and Facebook (FB) as of 9:05 a.m. Investors traded 669,781 shares of PowerShares QQQ Trust, which was up $0.46, or 0.73%.
Investors traded 260,560 shares of Apple, which was up $6.68, or 1.15%. Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference begins today. Announcements about the next version of Apple's operating systems for iPhones and iPads and updates to the MacBook portable computers are expected to be made.
Also traded were 255,459 shares of Facebook, which was down $0.03, or 0.11%.
