MIPS Technologies and Express Scripts Holding Company Among Most Active Stocks in Nasdaq Pre-Market

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the Nasdaq (INDEXNASDAQ:.IXIC) were MIPS Technologies (NASDAQ:MIPS), Express Scripts Holding Company (NASDAQ:ESRX), and Service Source International (NASDAQ:SREV) as of 9:05 a.m.

Investors exchanged 2,674,437 shares of MIPS Technologies, which was up $0.53, or 7.55%. MIPS Technologies will sell 490 of its 580 patent assets to Bridge Properties for $7.31 per share in cash.

Investors traded 2,326,714 shares of Express Scripts Holding Company, which was down $7.33, or 11.66%. According to Bloomberg, Express Scripts Holding Company stated today that profit estimates for 2013 made by analysts were "overly aggressive." Analysts surveyed by Bloomberg expected a profit of $4.50 per share, but Express Scripts released no official number of its own.

Investors also traded 1,353,887 shares of Service Source International, which was down $2.77, or 33.78%. Service Source cut its fourth-quarter financial estimates. It expects to lose between $5.8 million and $6.8 million in the fourth quarter; analysts had expected a $2.2 million loss.
