Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) and SPDR S&P 500 ETF (NYSEARCA:SPY) Among Most Active Stocks in NYSE Pre-Market

Alcatel-Lucent S.A. was down this morning.
MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the NYSE were Bank of America (NYSE:BAC), SPDR S&P 500 ETF (NYSEARCA:SPY), and Alcatel-Lucent S.A. (NYSE:ALU) as of 9:25 a.m.
Investors traded 1,723,180 million shares of Bank of America, which was up $0.08, or 0.91%. A cyber attack hit Bank of America and six other major banks last week resulting in customers unable to access their online accounts. A group claiming Middle Eastern ties conducted the cyber attack.
Investors exchanged 892,794 shares of SPDR S&P 500 ETF, which was up $0.57, or 0.40%. (Also see Pre-Market Primer: PMI Shows Manufacturing Slump Abating.)
Investors also traded 291,340 shares of Alcatel-Lucent S.A., which was down $0.03, or 2.73%. UBS downgraded Alcatel-Lucent to Sell from Neutral. The bank cited weaker fixed line in Europe, lack of a China recovery, and likely asset sales to pay down bond holders. UBS cut its price target for Alcatel-Lucent from $1.16 to $0.78
