PowerShares QQQ Trust and Facebook Among Most Active Stocks in Nasdaq Pre-Market


Aeterna Zentaris was up this morning.

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the Nasdaq (INDEXNASDAQ:.IXIC) were PowerShares QQQ Trust (NASDAQ:QQQ), Facebook (NASDAQ:FB), and Aeterna Zentaris (NASDAQ:AEZS) as of 9:00 a.m. EST.

Investors traded 414,959 shares of PowerShares QQQ Trust, which was down $0.45, or 0.70%.

Investors exchanged 369,475 shares of Facebook, which was down $0.44, or 1.69%. Instagram's active daily users dropped from 16.4 million to 12.4 million on Wednesday after Instagram changed its terms of service to allow the company to sell user photos for advertising and promotions.

Investors also traded 192,038 shares of Aeterna Zentaris, which was up $0.11, or 5.07%. According to the HeraldOnline, Aeterna Zentaris announced today that it has reached a deal with the FDA on a Special Protocol Assessment for an upcoming Phase 3 registration trial in endometrial cancer involving Aeterna's doxorubicin peptide conjustgate, AEZS-108.
