Marvell Technology Group and Research In Motion Among Most Active Stocks in Nasdaq Pre-Market

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the Nasdaq (INDEXNASDAQ:.IXIC) were Marvell Technology Group (NASDAQ:MRVL), Research In Motion (NASDAQ:RIMM), and Vodafone (NASDAQ:VOD) as of 9:05 a.m. EST.

Investors traded 1,309,139 shares of Marvell Technology Group, which was down $0.29, or 3.92%. According to Reuters, Marvell Technology will seek to overturn a $1.17 billion patent verdict imposed by a federal jury that found Marvell Technology infringed on two patents held by Carnegie Mellon University.

Investors exchanged 853,378 shares of Research In Motion, which was up $0.305, or 2.58%.

Investors also traded 408,310 shares of Vodafone, which was up $0.15, or 0.60%. Vodafone India, a subsidiary of Vodafone, will seek to extend its license for operation in three of its service areas of Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata.
