ACADIA Pharmaceuticals and Facebook Among Most Active Stocks in Nasdaq Pre-Market

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the Nasdaq (INDEXNASDAQ:.IXIC) were ACADIA Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:ACAD), Facebook (NASDAQ:FB), and PowerShares QQQ Trust (NASDAQ:QQQ) as of 9:15 a.m. EST.
Investors exchanged 7,417,288 shares of ACADIA Pharmaceuticals, which was up $4.53, or 196.96%. ACADIA Pharmaceuticals announced top-line results in its Phase III Trial of its drug primavanserin in patients with Parkinson's disease psychosis.
Investors traded 2,612,012 shares of Facebook, which was up $0.34, or 1.31%. Two digital rights groups have expressed their concerns to Facebook about changes to its governance and data use policy.
Investors also traded 433,462 shares of PowerShares QQQ Trust, which was down $0.07, or 0.11%.
