Facebook and Research In Motion Among Most Active Stocks in Nasdaq Pre-Market

Yahoo was up this morning.
MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the Nasdaq (INDEXNASDAQ:.IXIC) were Facebook (NASDAQ:FB), Research In Motion (NASDAQ:RIMM), and Yahoo (NASDAQ:YHOO) as of 8:50 a.m. EST.
Investors exchanged 1,770,012 shares of Facebook, which was up $0.88, or 3.68%. According to Marketwatch, analysts at Bernstein Research today upgraded shares of Facebook from market perform to outperform.
Investors traded 1,165,630 shares of Research In Motion, which was up $0.11, or 0.94%. CIBC World Markets upgraded Research In Motion to a speculative sector outperformer, the equivalent of a buy rating. The firm believes the BlackBerry 10 will perform well.
Investors also traded 345,778 shares of Yahoo, which was up $0.36, or 1.94%. Goldman Sachs added Yahoo to its conviction buy list and increased the stock's price target from $22 to $24. (Also read Goldman Sachs Adds Yahoo to 'Conviction Buy' List.)
