PowerShares QQQ Trust and Amarin Corporation Among Most Active Stocks in Nasdaq Pre-Market

Sirius XM Radio was up this morning.
MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the Nasdaq (INDEXNASDAQ:.IXIC) were PowerShares QQQ Trust (NASDAQ:QQQ), Amarin Corporation (NASDAQ:AMRN), and Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ:SIRI) as of 9:05 a.m. EST.
Investors traded 1,775,873 shares of PowerShares QQQ Trust, which was up $0.27, or 0.41%.
Investors exchanged 1,133,537 shares of Amarin Corporation, which was down $2.25, or 18.83%. According to Marketwatch, investors have reacted negatively to Amarin taking out a credit line of $100 million to launch its Vascepa drug to lower triglycerides in adults.
Investors also traded 470,943 shares of Sirius XM Radio, which was up $3.90, or 0.71%. Sirius XM will pay shareholders a special dividend.
