Sirius XM Radio and PowerShares QQQ Trust Among Most Active Stocks in Nasdaq Pre-Market

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the Nasdaq (INDEXNASDAQ:.IXIC) were Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ:SIRI), PowerShares QQQ Trust (NASDAQ:QQQ), and Accuray Incorporated (NASDAQ:ARAY) as of 8:45 a.m. EST.
Investors traded 8,756,051 shares of Sirius XM Radio, which was up $0.01, or 0.32%. According to Forbes, Liberty Media (NASDAQ:LMCA) said yesterday that the Federal Communications Commission approved the transfer of control of Sirius XM to Liberty. The transfer should take place within 60 days.
Investors also traded 1,592,482 shares of PowerShares QQQ Trust, which was up $0.05, or 0.07%.
Investors exchanged 802,545 shares of Accuray Incorporated, which was down $1.88, or 27.73%. JPMorgan downgraded Accuray from Neutral to Underweight after the company pre-announced its second-quarter results, which missed expectations.
