PowerShares QQQ Trust and Zipcar Among Most Active Stocks in Nasdaq Pre-Market

Facebook was up this morning.
MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the Nasdaq (INDEXNASDAQ:.IXIC) were PowerShares QQQ Trust (NASDAQ:QQQ), Zipcar (NASDAQ:ZIP), and Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) as of 8:45 a.m. EST.
Investors traded 2,607,533 shares of PowerShares QQQ Trust, which was up $1.38, or 2.12%.
Investors exchanged 1,975,981 shares of Zipcar, which was up $3.94, or 47.82%. According to Reuters, Avis Budget Group (NASDAQ:CAR) will buy Zipcar for $500 million in cash, or $12.25 per share, which represents a 49% premium to Zipcar's Monday close.
Investors also traded 884,887 shares of Facebook, which was up $0.69, or 2.59%.
