Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) and SPDR S&P 500 ETF (NYSEARCA:SPY) Among Most Active Stocks in NYSE Pre-Market


iShares MSCI Taiwan Index was down this morning.

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the NYSE were Bank of America (NYSE:BAC), SPDR S&P 500 ETF (NYSEARCA:SPY), and iShares MSCI Taiwan Index (NYSEARCA:EWT) as of 9:15 a.m. Investors traded 1.87 million shares of Bank of America, which was down $0.13, or 1.43%. Anne Walker has replaced Thong Nguyen as strategy executive at Bank of America. Walker previously worked as head of America's equity syndicate at Bank of America-Merrill Lynch. She is the third strategy chief in three years.

Investors also traded 1.12 million shares of SPDR S&P 500 ETF, which was down $0.73, or 0.50%. Investors exchanged 907,400 shares of the iShares MSCI Taiwan Index, which was down $0.05, or 0.33%. US stock futures have followed Asian and European stocks lower. China's Beige Book contained gloomy economic data on China's manufacturing and retail sectors.
