Aetna (NYSE:AET) yields 1.68% annually and has a market cap of $13.92 billion. The provider of diversified health care benefits in the United States will pay a quarterly dividend of $0.175 on October 26. This dividend results in a quarterly yield of 0.42% based on Friday's closing price of $41.66. The company has paid a dividend since 1977. Aetna paid a quarterly dividend from 1977 to 2000, and then began paying an annual dividend from 2001 to 2010, and switched back to a quarterly dividend in 2011.

These companies also have their ex-dividend date on October 9. All annual yields are estimated.

RAIT Financial Trust (NYSE:RAS) yields 6.75% annually and will pay a quarterly dividend of $0.09 on October 31.

Covidien (NYSE:COV) yields 1.72% annually and will pay a quarterly dividend of $0.085 on November 5.

Patterson Companies (NASDAQ:PDCO) yields 1.58% annually and will pay a quarterly dividend of $0.14 on October 26.

H.B. Fuller (NYSE:FUL) yields 1.10% annually and will pay a quarterly dividend of $0.085 on October 25.

Franco-Nevada Corporation (NYSE:FNV) yields 0.79% annually and will pay a monthly dividend of $0.05 on October 25.
