SPDR S&P 500 ETF and Bank of America Among Most Active Stocks in NYSE Pre-Market

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the NYSE were SPDR S&P 500 ETF (NYSEARCA:SPY), Bank of America (NYSE:BAC), and iShares Russell 2000 Index (NYSEARCA:IWM) as of 9:05 a.m. EST.

Investors exchanged 2.34 million shares of SPDR S&P 500 ETF, which was up $0.59, or 0.41%.

Investors traded 2.31 million shares of Bank of America, which was up $0.08, or 0.81%. Bank of America has canceled its plans for new checking-account fees that would have affected 10 million customers. The bank will hold off on this plan until at least the end of next year.

Investors also traded 504,710 shares of iShares Russell 2000 Index, which was up $0.61, or 0.74%.
