New Stock Coverage: Time to Shop at Casey's General Stores, Inc.

Wall Street ratings agencies set the tone for today's stock market.

A two-time Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue supermodel, whose ascendancy has been good for equities, turned the legal drinking age yesterday, only to find Mr. Market suffering a serious hangover from Friday's festivities. (Ms. Upton's many suitors could have done worse than buy her some shares of Punch Taverns (PCTVY), with the British pub owner's 3.9% surge being one of the standouts of an otherwise dull day.)

A new study showed that listening to music while driving isn't a distraction, but Apple Inc. (AAPL) continues to drive investors up the wall, slipping some 0.66% even as it unveiled iRadio. The Cupertino company now has only faint misty water-colored Memories, to quote the dulcet tones of Barbra Streisand, as a reminder of its all-time high in September. Barbra herself was just badly dissed by Seth Rogen, but as consolation, Boulder Brands (BDBD) jumped 6.27%. The firm best-known for its Smart Balance spreads is indeed proving itself to be just "like buttah."

On a day that was much more pauper than prince, Burger King (BKW) put in a regal showing, advancing 1.69% to an all-time best. And speaking of sovereigns, hard on the hoofed heels of a thoroughbred named Palace Malice winning the Belmont Stakes, Standard & Poor's - which tends to act only after the horse has bolted - raised the US credit outlook to an appropriately equine assessment of "stable."

Today in economics, April wholesale inventories are out at 10:00 a.m. Eastern. On the earnings front, Medical Action (MDCI), Prada (PRDSY), and Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance (ULTA) are each expected to report results.

Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (ALNY): Morgan Stanley starts the stock at Overweight.

Bioamber Inc (BIOA): The chemicals company is begun with an Outperform at Credit Suisse.

Casey's General Stores, Inc. (CASY): CASY gets covered with a Buy rating and $73 target price at Benchmark, which highlights both earnings growth potential and operating margin expansion.

Diamondback Energy Inc (FANG): FANG is a fresh Buy at Topeka.

ING US Inc (VOYA): The recent initial public offering is a new Neutral at Goldman Sachs.

Restoration Hardware Holdings Inc (RH): Jefferies begins Buy-rated research on the stock.

Tableau Software, Inc. (DATA): Shares are begun with a Market Perform and $57 price objective at BMO Capital Markets, which notes its license sales growth rate is decelerating.
