New Stock Coverage: Ruckus Wireless Ready to Make Some Noise

Wall Street ratings agencies set the tone for today's stock market.

Ruckus Wireless (NYSE:RKUS) has a canine as its logo and, for the past year, its shares have certainly been in the doghouse. The stock has tumbled 39.07% in the past 12 months, but relief may be at hand. It's advancing 2.71% before the opening bell after being assigned a bullish rating this morning.
Henry Blodget, of all people, is now urging caution, but even an increasingly pessimistic outlook from the poster child for Nasdaq's (INDEXNASDAQ:.IXIC) dot-com boom was powerless to prevent the tech-heavy exchange from advancing for a fifth straight session. The S&P 500 Index (INDEXSP:.INX) is on an identical run, even if Monday's market volume was distinctly unimpressive. Toymaker Hasbro (NASDAQ:HAS), up 1.92%, hit the highest level in its history, thanks to boffo Bronie sales to grown men who look like this. Meanwhile, the most powerful person on the planet was photographed in the company of a giant bunny. Either the world has gone bonkers or Weed Day was extended by 24 hours; it must be the latter. After all, Cara Therapeutics (NASDAQ:CARA) -- which has a preclinical cannabis compound -- jumped 11.58%. The company is clearly running (smoke) rings around the competition and has the most appropriately named spokeswoman on Earth should it wish to employ the English supermodel as a mouthpiece.
Today in economics, March existing homes sales are expected to slip from February's pace at 10:00 a.m. EDT. Another full day for first-quarter earnings announcements sees AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T), Intuitive Surgical (NASDAQ:ISRG), and McDonald's (NYSE:MCD) all release results.
Now let's turn to this morning's new stock coverage, a list that includes drug and telecom stocks in addition to Ruckus Wireless.

Aerohive Networks (NYSE:HIVE): Piper Jaffray picks the stock up at Overweight.
Ericsson (NYSE:ERIC): The telecom titan from Sweden is up 1.55% before the bell, despite only meriting a Market Perform at Raymond James.
Everyday Health (NYSE:EVDY): Stifel starts the stock at a Buy and assigns an $18 price objective. Catalysts include good advertising, revenue growth prospects, and important agreements with Twitter (NYSE:TWTR) and the Mayo Clinic.
Franco-Nevada (NYSE:FNV): Shares are a new Neutral at Goldman Sachs.
GW Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:GWPH): Morgan Stanley assigns an Overweight. Its target price is $103.
Ruckus Wireless: Piper Jaffray assigns an upbeat Overweight on the equity.
Supernus Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:SUPN): Jefferies has a Hold and $9 target on the stock, which surged 4.24% in Monday's market.
2U, Inc. (NASDAQ:TWOU): Shares get begun with a Buy and $17 objective at Goldman Sachs.
