Enerplus Corporation, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the exploration and development of crude oil and natural gas in United States and Canada. It will pay a monthly dividend of $0.09 on November 20, and the monthly yield will be 0.56% based on yesterday's closing price of $16.12. The company has paid a monthly dividend since the end of 2001. The dividend is down from a high of $0.19 in 2011.

Alliance Holdings (NASDAQ:AHGP) yields 5.76% annually and has a market cap of $3 billion. Alliance Holdings, through its subsidiaries, produces and markets coal primarily to utilities and industrial users in the United States. It will pay a quarterly dividend of $0.72 on November 19, and its monthly yield will be 1.44% based on yesterday's closing price of $49.96. The company has paid a quarterly dividend since the second half of 2006, and each dividend payment has either increased or remained the same from the prior quarter.

These companies also have their ex-dividend date on November 7. All annual yields are estimated.

Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) yields 3.58% annually and will pay a quarterly dividend of $0.22 on December 4.

Walgreen (NYSE:WAG) yields 3.23% annually and will pay a quarterly dividend of $0.275 on December 12.

TD Ameritrade (NYSE:AMTD) yields 2.20% annually and will pay a quarterly dividend of $0.09 on November 23.

Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) yields 1.81% annually and will pay a quarterly dividend of $2.65 on November 15.

IBM (NYSE:IBM) yields 1.75% annually and will pay a quarterly dividend of $0.85 on December 10.
