Nokia (NYSE:NOK) and Michael Kors (NYSE:KORS) Among Most Active Stocks in NYSE Pre-Market


Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) was up this morning.

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the NYSE were Nokia (NYSE:NOK), Michael Kors Holdings (NYSE:KORS), and Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) as of 9:15 a.m. Investors traded 1.98 million shares of Nokia, which was up $0.04, or 1.46%. Nokia announced today that it will launch two new touch-screen cellphone models in the fourth quarter of 2012. Nokia expects the Nokia Asha 308 and the Nokia Asha 309 to retail for about $99 each.

Investors also traded 1.71 million shares of Michael Kors, which was down $0.25, or 0.46%. Michael Kors announced today the pricing of its secondary offering of 23 million ordinary shares by certain selling shareholders at $53 per share. The selling shareholders were not named.

Investors exchanged 1.29 million shares of Bank of America, which was up $0.09, or 0.99%. Bank of America-Merrill Lynch said yesterday that it hired former Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) Smith Barney director Michael Maghini to head its insurance and annuities division.
