Groupon and Allscripts Healthcare Solutions Among Most Active Stocks in Nasdaq Pre-Market

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the Nasdaq (INDEXNASDAQ:.IXIC) were Groupon (NASDAQ:GRPN), Allscripts Healthcare Solutions (NASDAQ:MDRX), and Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ:SIRI), and as of 9:10 a.m.
Investors exchanged 5,109,552 shares of Groupon, which was down $0.87, or 22.19%. Groupon released its third quarter financial results yesterday. The company reported a net loss of $2.98 million. Analysts at Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) downgraded Groupon from overweight to equal weight.
Investors also traded 2,747,092 shares of Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, which was down $0.66, or 5.38%. According to Bloomberg, Allscripts is considering a sale of the company after it reported its third-quarter revenue declined. The company reported a third-quarter net income of $9.4 million, or $0.05 per share, compared with $19.1 million, or $0.10 per share, in the prior-year quarter.
