  • The Japanese trading company Marubeni (OTCMKTS:MARUY) bought 30,200 shares of commercial jet aircraft company Aircastle (NYSE:AYR) for $570,963.
  • Phillip Frost, Chairman and CEO of Opko Health (NYSE:OPK), bought 16,700 shares of company stock for $147,273.
Notable Sales:
  • Brown and Williamson, a beneficial owner of tobacco company Reynolds American (NYSE:RAI), sold 155,997 shares of company stock for $7,539,335. Reynolds American was created in 2004 when Brown and Williamson, amidst controversy that it added addictive chemicals to its cigarettes, merged with R.J. Reynolds.
  • Sarah Smith, Accounting Officer at Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS), sold 16,787 shares of company stock for $2,934,187.
