  • The Dallas, Texas-based private investment firm Hirzel Capital Management bought 340,000 shares of holding company Hawaiian Holdings (NASDAQ:HA) for $2,520,998. The company's primary asset is the sole ownership of all Hawaiian Airlines' outstanding shares of common stock.
  • The employee-owned investment manager Whippoorwill Associates bought 36,860 shares of concrete producer US Concrete (NASDAQ:USCR) for $707,912.
  • The privately owned hedge fund sponsor Coliseum Capital Management bought 150,000 shares of the manufacturer and supplier of commercial vehicle components Accuride (NYSE:ACW) for $697,500.
