  • The Japanese trading company Marubeni (OTCMKTS:MARUF) bought 44,800 shares of global, high-utility, commercial jet aircraft company Aircastle (NYSE:AYR) for $761,958.
  • At non-diversified, closed-end management investment company Putnam Premier Income Trust (NYSE:PPT), Michael Salm, Co-Head of Fixed Income at the firm, bought 95,000 shares of company stock for $503,500, while William Kohli, also Co-Head of Fixed Income, bought 89,000 shares for $471,700.
  • Eric Edidin, a manager of Archer Capital Management, which holds the most valuable position in fiber-based telephone, Internet, broadband, and data service provider Lumos Networks Corp (NASDAQ:LMOS), bought 27,890 shares of Lumos stock for $436,200.
  • AO Partners I LP, the largest shareholder of overnight air cargo and ground equipment and services company Air T (NASDAQ:AIRT), bought 27,000 shares of company stock for $288,465.
