  • The billionaire activist investor Carl Icahn bought 646,289 shares of commercial and military trucks company Navistar International Corp (NYSE:NAV) for $21,212,240, while Mark Rachesky, a Director of the company, bought 657,878 shares for $20,934,558 (Rachesky bought more shares, but at a lower stock price).
  • Daniel Ivascyn, the manager of the non-diversified, close-ended management investment company PIMCO Dynamic Income Fund (NYSE:PDI), bought 30,000 shares of company stock for $845,826.
Notables Sales:
  • At professional social network company LinkedIn (NYSE:LNKD), Director David Sze sold 15,937 shares of company stock for $3,170,207, while Vice President Michael Gamson sold 8,747 shares for $1,739,822.
  • Jonathan Koch, a Director of biodiesel producer Renewable Energy Group (NASDAQ:REGI), sold 281,354 shares of company stock for $4,035,850.
  • Micahel Schroepfer, the CTO of Facebook (NASDAQ:FB), sold 45,000 shares of of the social network company's stock for $1,296,081.
