Bargain Bin: 6 Undervalued Consumer Goods Stocks

By

The stock market's adjustment has undervalued consumer goods stocks -- we found a nice selection with a price-to-earnings ratio below $10.

Consumer sentiment is thought to be improving, so we decided to look for some discounted consumer-goods stocks. We started by setting a really low threshold for price-to-earnings (P/E) ratios, only including stocks with a P/E below 10.

Then to narrow the screen further (because a lot of stocks were trading with low valuations at the moment), we set a decently high threshold for the market cap at around $4 billion. This will give them some resilience if the market continues to go down for a while.
