SPDR S&P 500 ETF and Nokia Among Most Active Stocks in NYSE Pre-Market


Bank of America was up this morning.

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the NYSE were SPDR S&P 500 ETF (NYSEARCA:SPY), Nokia (NYSE:NOK), and Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) as of 9:10 a.m.

Investors traded 2.11 million shares of SPDR S&P 500 ETF, which was up $0.12, or 0.08%. (See also: Pre-Market Primer: IMF Report Predicts More Gloom and Doom.)

Investors exchanged 1.14 million shares of Nokia, which was up $0.07, or 2.61%. T-Mobile said it would carry the Nokia Lumia 810, which is powered by Windows Phone 8.

Investors also traded 1.08 million shares of Bank of America, which was up $0.06, or 0.65%. Last Thursday (October 4), Bank of America announced the redemption of nine trust preferred stocks, or TRUPS, valued at $5.133 billion. Bank of America has 57 more of these TRUPS.
