Clearwire Corporation and Sirius XM Radio Among Most Active Stocks in Nasdaq Pre-Market


Isis Pharmaceuticals was down this morning.

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the Nasdaq (INDEXNASDAQ:.IXIC) were Clearwire Corporation (NASDAQ:CLWR), Isis Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:ISIS), and Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ:SIRI) as of 9:00 a.m.

Investors exchanged 6,615,169 shares of Clearwire Corporation, which was down $0.54, or 20.07%. According to Bloomberg, people with direct knowledge of the situation said that Sprint (NYSE:S) has no immediate plants to take over Clearwire Corporation.

Investors traded 439,077 shares of Isis Pharmaceuticals, which was down $1.90, or 14.45%.

Investors also traded 361,291 shares of Sirius XM Radio, which was up $0.01, or 0.36%. Morgan Stanley raised its price target for Sirius XM yesterday, increasing it from $2.60 to $2.85. Morgan Stanley has an Equal-Weight rating on Sirius XM.
