MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the Nasdaq (INDEXNASDAQ:.IXIC) were Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ:SIRI), Illumina (NASDAQ:ILMN), and SBA Communications (NASDAQ:SBAC) as of 8:55 a.m.
Investors traded 6,780,696 shares of Sirius XM Radio, which was up $0.09, or 3.31%. Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) has given Sirius XM a Buy rating and a price target of $3.75.
Investors also traded 857,347 shares of Illumina, which was up $2.84, or 5.80%. Illumina launched its Individual Genome Sequencing (or IGS) service in September, which can deliver a person's entire genome in as little as two weeks.
Investors exchanged 234,300 shares of SBA Communications, which was down $0.77, or 1.22%. SBA Communications announced the underwritten public offering of 4,588,840 shares of its Class A common held by the selling shareholders. These shares represent all shares that were issued in connection with SBA's recent acquistion of TowerCo II Holdings.
