PowerShares QQQ Trust (NASDAQ:QQQ) and Yahoo (NASDAQ:YHOO) Among Most Active Stocks in Nasdaq Pre-Market


Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) was up this morning.

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the Nasdaq (INDEXNASDAQ:.IXIC) were PowerShares QQQ Trust (NASDAQ:QQQ), Yahoo! (NASDAQ:YHOO), and Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) as of 8:55 a.m.

Investors traded 751,493 shares of PowerShares QQQ, which was up $0.20, or 0.29%. US stocks are poised to open higher after closing down yesterday on eurozone fears and news of slowing manufacturing and retail sectors in China.

Investors also traded 270,330 shares of Yahoo, which was up $0.28, or 1.79%. Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) has given Yahoo a buy rating and a 12-month price target of $22 per share.

Investors exchanged 245,299 shares of Facebook, which was up $0.30, or 1.45%. Data suggests that Facebook has begun deleting its fake likes on Facebook pages to reflect more accurate numbers.
