Dell and Facebook Among Most Active Stocks in Nasdaq Pre-Market

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the Nasdaq (^IXIC) were Dell (DELL), Facebook (FB), and Zynga (ZNGA) as of 8:45 a.m. Investors traded 724,911 shares of Dell, which was down $0.64, or 5.19%. Dell reported yesterday a second-quarter profit of $732 million, or $0.42 per share, on $14.5 billion in revenue. These numbers disappointed analysts, who expected the company to report a profit of $0.45 per share on revenue of $14.7 billion.

Investors also traded 420,084 shares of Facebook, which was up $0.18, or 0.94%, and 345,002 shares of Zynga, which was up $0.14, or 4.71%.
