Google makes the list, but Amgen and Biogen warrant reduction in exposure.

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL Below are the top 20 strongest names in the S&P 500 (^GSPC) based on proprietary algorithm as of August 23. Percentage return is not a factor in calculating the Top 20 strongest names. Google (GOOG) is our first true technology name besides Amazon (AMZN) to make the list in several months. For sector grouping purposes, Amazon is considered to be in the consumer services sector.

Names in our strongest S&P 500 Model that we are reducing exposure to are: Amgen (AMGN), Biogen (BIIB), Gap (GPS) and Constellation Brands (STZ) These names are only approaching overbought and are not yet overbought.
