Will Your Android Phone Get Updated?

Print comment Post Comments
We're not even a year and a half into the lifespan of the original Motorola Droid -- widely regarded as the first viable Android smartphone to go up against the iPhone -- and the device is looking a little long in the tooth. Despite sporting the second-to-last Android OS, Froyo, there's yet to be official confirmation that it will receive the next smartphone update to Gingerbread, or Android 2.3.
