Ever wonder why that female boss of yours is always in a bad mood? Well, it not PMS, it’s those Christian Louboutins that she is wearing on her feet.

A new British study published in the Journal of Experimental Biology showed that women who wear heels all the time develop noticeably shorter calf muscles (about 13% less than other people’s) and thicker Achilles tendons, making them unable to put their feet flat on the floor – much like that blond wonder Barbie that they spent so much time dressing in fancy clothes as children.

These aren’t the only issues making her take out her rage on you – those same $400 heels also make her more susceptible to sprained ankles. So next time she is berating you for your shoddy job on this month’s report, just push her off her high heels.
