Jennifer Harper of the Washington Times points out that the US national debt is currently at $14,025,215,218,708.52.

We've got just under $986 trillion left before we have to start in on the quadrillions, which looks like this:

$1,000,000,000,000,000.00.

Then, there's quintillion, which has 18 zeros, sextillion (21), septillion (24), octillion (27), nonillion (30), decillion (33), undecillion (36), duodecillion (39), tredecillion (42), quattuordecillion (45), quindecillion (48), sexdecillion (51), septendecillion (54), octodecillion (57), novemdecillion (60), and vigintillion (63)--which looks like this:

1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.00.

While "vigintillion" doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, practice saying it. We're getting there.
