This French Pillow Fight Isn't a Euphemism

Although two decades working for JetBlue could culminate to a DEFCON 1-level freakout, life as a flight attendant on Germany's Lufthansa airlines seems, judging by this video, pretty upbeat.

While en route to Frankfurt from Tel-Aviv, a pillow fight broke out between a group of French tourists in economy class. And rather than gathering up the ammunition and giving the group a stern lecture on proper airplane behavior and the mediocrity of Jerry Lewis, the flight attendant joined in on the fluffy melee, tossing pillows from one end of the cabin to the other. After a minute of airborne frivolity, the passengers clapped and cheered for keeping an otherwise miserable mode of transportation a little more enjoyable.

Martin Riecken, Lufthansa's director head of corporate communications for the Americas, spoke favorably about the incident with Travel Agent Central. "She responded in the right way. It shows how important it is to have the right attendants in this job, and how important it is to react to passengers' sentiments in [the right] way."

For a German director, his reaction toward monkey shines was decidedly more tolerant than Colonel Klink's.
