Let’s say you own a taco shop. And you’ve been sued for, oh, I don’t know, falsely claiming that your tacos are made with “beef” when, in fact, they’re kind of not. What can you possibly do to put a smile back on any disgruntled customer's face?

Give ‘em more “beef” tacos.

Taco Bell is now offering a free Crunchy Seasoned “Beef” Taco to the first 10 million people who want them from its Facebook page.

"Thanks so much for your support," the coupon reads. "Thumbs up to you friend! Enjoy a free crunch taco on us!"

Last month, Taco Bell was slammed with a lawsuit claiming that its “seasoned ground beef” didn’t meet the US Dept. of Agriculture’s standards for what actually constitutes beef, and should be called “taco meat filling” instead.

The Bell has denied the accusations. Sort of. Their official response?

"We start with 100% USDA-inspected beef. Then we simmer it in our proprietary blend of seasonings and spices to give our seasoned beef its signature Taco Bell taste and texture. "

In the end, Taco Bell says its beef is 88% beef. Which, I guess, also means it’s 12% bull.

In any event, people, it’s a FREE “TACO.” Get it here.
