Between iTunes and the weather the music industry is drowning.

As a means of combating virtually non-existent CD sales, musical talent and the big business machine that drives it has been resorting to live shows and touring to fill the piggy bank, but mother nature isn’t a fan of the Jonas Brothers.

The tween heart-throbs are just one of many acts that have been forced to cancel shows over the summer months due to weather and slowing ticket sales. Customers just aren’t interested in sitting in the rain listening to mediocre music when they can buy that music for a dollar on iTunes in the comfort of their own home – the iTunes version usually sounds better too.

The music business just isn’t what it used to be; if people want to make ridiculous amounts of money for “doing something they love” they should take up sports.
