AD FIRM OF ZUCKER, ZUCKER, AND ABRAHAMS

Proving that ads disparaging a product don't matter as long as they gets hits, Allstar Products Group -- the company that successfully marketed a blanket with sleeves -- is looking for commericals, documentaries and, yes, parodies of the backwards robe for inclusion in the Snuggie Choice Film Awards.

Makers of the de facto gag gift are no stranger to being the butt of a joke. Snuggie parodies have dominated YouTube, with this curse-heavy clip garnering over 13.4 million hits. But unlike most companies behind bonehead products, Allstar is welcoming the parodies and posting them on its film contest site. Already the site contains four mediocre clips -- two of which rely on the age-old comedy fallback of white people rapping -- but one isn't too bad. Blanket! rightly mocks the Snuggie's ad and the very core of its concept: How is this any better than a blanket?

Winners of the film contest will receive $5,000, a trip to New York City, and the chance to appear in an upcoming Snuggie ad for 2011. And although it's not expressly mentioned, it's probably best not to center your submission around Allstar deeming a Snuggie ad appearance as a "prize."
