Ralph Lauren Launches World's First Shoppable Storybook

Print comment Post Comments

After weeks, months, nay years of waiting, Ralph Lauren has finally launched the “world’s first shoppable storybook adventure.” And better yet, it’s narrated by Uma Thurman.

The storybook, which is actually a video, follows eight wonderfully dressed little children through a day at school. And here’s the great part—at any point in the video, if you scroll over one of the children’s bodies the video will automatically stop and a window will pop up that will let you buy the very clothes that the kids are wearing!

For the men, you can browse everything from Oliver’s Cotton-Cashmere Fair Isle Vest ($75) to Hudson’s Blake Broadcloth Madras ($35). For the ladies, you can take a cue from Elle and buy yourself a Pointelle Ruffle Cotton Shrug ($39.50) or even Willow’s Honeycomb Smocked Eyelet Dress ($95).

But that’s just the beginning. River, Oliver, Hudson, Jasper, Mae, Elle, Zoe, and Willow each have great clothes to choose from so you're kid can fit right in to 18th century Paris, or 21st century Upper East Side.

So what are you waiting for? Oh. You feel a little creepy clicking on children’s bodies so you can buy their clothes. Nahhh….just do it!
