MINYANVILLE PRESENTS A COMPREHENSIVE LIST OF U.S. EXECUTIVE BRANCH CZARS

Print comment Post Comments
Between 1933 and 2001, there were 38 executive branch "czar" offices appointed. As one might intuit, most of those - 12 - were created during FDR's administration. Since 2001, there have been 63 "Czars," and 32 of those were created this year alone.

What's your favorite "Czar"? Is is the Cleanup Czar? What about the Czar Czar? Ours is most definitely Bill Jeffers, who from 1942-43 presided as the Rubber Czar.
