Meet the World's Most Expensive Dog

Print comment Post Comments
A coal baron in China has bought what reporters are calling the world’s most expensive dog. The red Tibetan mastiff, pictured below, went for 10 million Chinese yuan, or $1.5 million.

Daily Mail adds “it's lucky his new master is a multi-millionaire, because the hefty price tag doesn't factor in Big Splash's diet – enough chicken and beef to fill a growing 180lb dog, spiced up with Chinese delicacies such as sea cucumber and abalone.”

And yes, the dog is beautiful. But—call me crazy—somehow it doesn’t compare to the sheer joy one finds on the face of a running basset hound.

And lucky for us, there's more pics here.
