It was bound to happen, what with the proliferation of man bags over the past few years -- the metrosexual physique is fighting back.

According to the British Chiropractic Association, men are carrying too many "essentials" with them in their male purses, which Britain's Daily Mail says "are now functional fashion accessories as opposed to objects of scorn."

With three in five men accessorizing with one, Tim Hutchful of the BCA says: "Man bags are now a necessity for many men during their daily lives, but they could cause back and shoulder pain from prolonged stress, this can also impact posture. The bags serve a purpose so we need to become more savvy in how we use them, whilst learning to read our bodies and know when we’re placing too much pressure on certain points."
